Charscot went to Shaolin on the back of two
away wins out of two this season and having won the last 3
meetings at Shaolin. Despite this confidence the team was trailing after just two minutes. The team seems to be made of stronger stuff this season as within 3 minutes Imre Schlosser scored from close range. An even match was decided by substitute Julian Rijkhoff who hit a superb volley to win the match with 11 minutes left. The win keeps the club in 4th place after 5 matches. Manager Rich Grove was ecstatic afterwards. "The start this season on the road has been excellent. If we can just improve our home form this could be a very good season. However for now we will be happy just to not have a relegation battle if we can keep away from that!". In the Super Cup the team's season finally started as they hosted Cruzio Cortez and won 3-1 courtesy of a Rivellino hattrick. |
|
29/09/2025 |
Charscot welcomed Athletico Academy to The
Blue Silver Stadium having never lost at home to them in
six previous meetings. Despite dominating the match Charscot were sucker-punched as they lost 1-0 to end their unbeaten start to the season. The loss dropped the team to fourth place. Manager Rich Grove was disappointed post-match. "That was a very disappointing result, certainly not one we deserved. The players played well and now we have to rebound next week without Rivellino, who is injured". The Super Cup has yet to start for the club as another opponent failed to show up, leaving the club with 2 matches to catch up on already. In transfer news it was announced that no less than two youngsters will be joining the club next week with a goalkeeper coming via the auction market and a midfielder from Spondon. Walter Nausch completed his departure via the auction market, joining Cusco in the Opal League. |
|
22/09/2025 |
Charscot took their unbeaten record to
pointless Prestatyn Town. By the 14th minute The Wolverines were two down and it looked grim for their prospects. However a fighting comeback saw Brad Blackwell becomes the 7th player to score a hat-trick as the team fought back to win 3-2. The win moves the team into third place, only off of top spot on goal difference. Manager Rich Grove was delighted post-match. "That was a fabulous comeback and Brad deserves a lot of credit for his inspiring performance". The team's first game in the Super Cup was not played after the opponents failed to turn up, an embarrassing turn of events. |
|
15/09/2025 |
Charscot hosted their first home game of
the season with St Joseph's BC visiting. BC have done well in this fixture in recent seasons but Charscot are looking like a far better side as they thumped the visitors for the 90 minutes. However, too many shots went awry and The Wolverines had to settle for a point in a 0-0 draw that retains the club's position of seventh on week 2. Manager Rich Grove had mixed feelings afterwards. "I am happy we remain undefeated after two matches, and the clean sheet is a good bonus too. However, we were so in control of the match we really should have scored, or at least troubled their keeper more than we did". A quiet week as the manager looks to keep a settled squad and determine what he actually has at his disposal. Walter Nausch still has 2 weeks left on the market and his bid is north of £ 20million. |
|
08/09/2025 |
Charscot started the new season with a trip
to Spondon Phoenix F.C hoping to avoid the usual defeat. The manager made changes, giving two full debutants a game as well as changing tactics and those changes would prove crucial. Rivellino scored after just seven minutes as the home defence collapsed into chaos. Shortly into the second half Didi, making a fresh start after his first season was ended very early, scored his first professional goal, hopefully of many, with a fine shot from distance. The hosts only had one shot on target, but that hit the net to halve the arrears but The Wolverines looked comfortable enough as they won 2-1. The win sees the club in 7th position after the one match. Manager Rich Grove was ecstatic post-match. "That is just the start we needed. The aim is to challenge at the top but the short term aim is just to get into and stay in the top half, well away from any relegation battle". The draw for the SLFA Cup sees the team hosting Division One side Cruzio Cortez. |
|
01/09/2025 |
Charscot needed to win to guarantee top
flight survival and at half time they trailed visiting
Whitebrook Rangers and things looked pretty grim. Results elsewhere were a boost and the team produced the goods in the last quarter of the match to survive. Rivellino hit an exquisite lob to level on 71 minutes before Ian Storey-moore scored a bizarre own goal, chipping his own keeper from just inside his own half six minutes later to give Charscot the win and safety. The team finished 12th and a draw would have been enough ultimately, Manager Rich Grove was relieved afterwards. "Another season where we have saved ourselves in the final week. Simply not good enough. We have to find a way of playing that shows off our skills and ensures better results next season". On the final day of the season the manager decided to AM Walter Nausch. "The feeling within the club is that the squad is just too big and with our captain Imre moving into defence it was felt the best thing for Walter's career was a fresh start. He has never quite got going here and a new arena hopefully will lead to an excellent career". With another season over the awards were given out. Taking the Player of the Year is Brad Blackwell whilst Hector Scarone took the Young Player of the Year award. Brad also celebrated making the club's Hall of Fame as he was selected for that honour along with Alberto Spencer. |
|
25/08/2025 |
Charscot had the chance to save their
season as they visited A.F.C Binfield, where they have won
to nil on their last two visits. However, the team leaked badly at the back and woeful finishing led them to a 3-1 loss. Rivellino's equaliser was scant consolation as the team now find their top flight future is dependant on next week's match. The team stays 13th, a point ahead of Wascisco and Colwyn Bay as they entertain Whitebrook Rangers, directly above them in the league. Manager Rich Grove cut a dejected figure afterwards. "It feels like this was our chance to stay up. I have little confidence going into next week's match and fear the worst". |
|
18/08/2025 |
Charscot needed to back up last week's win
as the team faced a local derby at home to fellow
strugglers Wascisco Red Sox. A nervy performances was won through a 24th minute bundled in goal from Julian Rijkhoff. The win was enormous, as it moved Charscot out of the relegation places after Colwyn Bay let in an 8th minute equaliser at The Academy. Manager Rich Grove was relieved afterwards. "We certainly have had a decent amount of luck this week, and we need to do all we can to win next week at A.F.C Binfield for the 5th time in our last 7 visits there". No more news behind the scenes but it is believed the manager is considering whether the squad is in need of a further reduction in size before the season ends. |
|
11/08/2025 |
Charscot backed up last week's excellent
point with a victory at Colwyn Bay to close the gap on Bay
t one point with 3 games left. After going a goal down early the team bounced back with a Zebeto close range shot on 40 minutes. With time running out Roger Piantoni scored from a break away to secure what could be an enormous 3 points. Manager Rich Grove was delighted afterwards. "That was just what we needed. There is a lot still required, starting with a victory over Wascisco next week, but we are still alive for another week at least". A busy time behind the scenes with a number of contracts renewed and the first part of a deal with Wascisco as two left and one arrived. This deal will be completed at the end of the season. |
|
04/08/2025 |
Charscot put in a superb performance as
they drew 0-0 at home to likely Champions The Academy and
for most of the match dominated. However the draw leaves the team4 points from safety with just four matches left. Manager Rich Grove was brief afterwards. "We are down to our last chance now as we have to beat Colwyn and Wascisco in the next two matches. Anything less than two wins and we are relegated". Behind the scenes more transfers are rumoured with next expected next week as the manager looks to refine the squad for next season. |
|
28/07/2025 |
Charscot are all but certain to relegate,
now four points from safety with 5 games left and an
inferior goal difference to the clubs they are chasing. The 1-0 loss at local rivals Vanbrugh Royals was no surprise considering the Royal's excellent season. Manager Rich Grove had little comment afterwards. "Nothing much to say, not as if the players seem like they care". The manager sold off the excess youths this week and rumours of more deals are rife around the club. |
|
21/07/2025 |
Charscot seem destined for Division One
next season but that didn't stop them beating local rivals
Beeston Athletic, t give them false hope this week. Despite Athletic taking an early lead the hosts levelled via Duscher's toe poke on 26 minutes. Rivellino's superb free kick on 65 minutes secured a very rare home win. The team is 3 points adrift with a vastly worse goal difference going into the final six matches. Manager Rich Grove thanked the players post-match. "Thanks to the players on at least giving me a nice birthday present with this win. Sadly it feels too late to save us but we will plug on". Behind the scenes the manager got rid of two keepers to slimline the defensive options. |
|
14/07/2025 |
Charscot were vastly improved at Longfield
K.L.F, but couldn't find the winning goal they needed as
they drew 0-0. The point sees the team now six points from safety with just 7 matches left and relegation is assured it seems. Manager Rich Grove refused to speak to the press afterwards as he spent his time with the squad. Behind the scenes keeper Purdue arrived but is immediately on his way to Ziaste. Baptista has gone on the auction market whilst ex player Rafael Gordillo has returned to the club with an eye on next season down a level. |
|
07/07/2025 |
Charscot hosted fellow strugglers Rhyl
knowing nothing less than a win would do. Watching the match you would hardly have known the importance as in a drab affair the hosts contrived to gift a weak scoring Rhyl sides 3 goals and consequently an easy win. The first goal took 21 seconds and that ended the match as a contest. The loss drops Charscot to 15th and four points from safety with 8 matches remaining. Manager Rich Grove was fuming afterwards. "That was pathetic. Rhyl offered little yet take a 3 goal win as we do nothing at the back or up front. The entire squad should be ashamed of themselves. We have little hope of staying up right now and I am now looking at removing the worst offenders, starting with Baptista, who will be on the market in a week unless an offer comes in from him, which I am not anticipating as I have no intention of advertising him". |
|
30/06/2025 |
Charscot went to Ziaste Nequeno with little
hope of a win and a 1-1 draw did little as the team edges
nearer relegation. Brad Blackwell's magnificent header on 75 minutes to equalise a 14th minute Ziaste opener was of little consolation after the match. The draw now leaves the team 3 points from safety and looking increasingly likely to be in Division One next season. Manager Rich Grove had few words of hope for the fans. "Clearly this useless bunch have given up and have no pride in playing for the club". |
|
23/06/2025 |
Charscot seem destined to relegate as once
again they lost a game they controlled for long periods,
incapable of keeping a clean sheet whilst unable to take
any of their chances to actually score. Shaolin took a 1-0 win from The Blue Silver Stadium to ease their own relegation worries whilst Charscot dropped to a season low 15th place. Manager Rich Grove was very brief post match. "Just had enough, nothing more to say", as he stormed out of the press conference. The manager saw Oleksandr Alihev arrive from the auction market today and it is rumoured he will play a role next week. |
|
16/06/2025 |
Charscot had a busy week with a derby cup
tie and a road trip in the league, neither of which went
particularly well. In the Cup Division One Space Cadets raced into a two goal lead after just two minutes and a Brad Blackwell tap in was scant consolation as the club exited the cup at the third round stage. In the league Charscot took the lead at Athletico Academy through a Brad Blackwell volley but soon found themselves 2-1 down. Julian Rijkhoff tapped home on 64 minutes to secure a point in a 2-2 draw. The draw leaves the team in 14th and losing ground on many of those sides above them. Manager Rich Grove was brief afterwards. "Not a good week on the pitch at all. We are hoping that our move off the pitch will prove historically to be a fruitful one but time will tell". The move behind the scenes saw the club win with a last gasp bid, bringing in Oleksandr Alihev from Real Madrid via the auction market. Oleksandr won't arrive until next week so any influence this season seems likely to be minimal. |
|
09/06/2025 |
Charscot were desperate for a win today but
once again the team let everyone down, losing 1-0 at home
to Prestatyn Town. This leaves the team in 14th place and looking likely to relegate. Manager Rich Grove was brief afterwards. "It was just more of the same garbage, and I am sick of it." Jaime Lazcano finished his auction market stint, joining The Academy for £ 22,000,000. |
|
02/06/2025 |
A trip to St Joseph's BC, challenging in
second place for the league title was always going to be a
hard match. After going in trailing at half time the team played much better in the second half and were rewarded when Altobelli scored his first career goal with 12 minutes left after coming on as a substitute. The point leaves the team in 14th place. Manager Rich Grove was brief afterwards. "It is a good point but we really need to be winning league matches if we want to avoid relegation". The draw for the SLFA Cup sees the team facing a local derby with the visit of Division One side Space Cadets. Meanwhile the squad looks slightly more settled as Morten Thorsby left for Ziaste after just over a month as the experiment with a slower player produced no positive results. Jaime Lazcano's final week on the market sees his bid currently at £ 22 million. |
|
26/05/2025 |
A double game week at least saw the team
stay at home with a league and cup match at The Blue
Silver Stadium. In both matches the hosts dominated but got very different results. Spondon stole the points despite the home side dominating for long periods with two second half goals. In the cup Longfield K.L.F took the lead against the run of play in the first half before Blackwell and Schlosser scored second half goals to see the club progress to round 3. The league loss sees the team drop to 14th place. Manager Rich Grove was disappointed afterwards. "We really needed a league win in our situation but we are happy to progress to round 3 of the cup". More squad changes are expected with so many underperforming with Thorsby expected to leave in the next 7 days. |
|
19/05/2025 |
After seemingly turning a corner over the
past fortnight the team returned to their patchy
performances as they failed miserably at Whitebrook
Rangers and dropped back into relegation trouble. Brad Blackwell's first league goal of the season, a superb lob on 54 minutes, brought the teams back on level terms before conceding 20 minutes later and losing. The team are now 12th and only two points above the bottom 3. Manager Rich Grove cast a miserable figure post-match. "We cannot be losing to sides in and around us in the table, it gives them a boost as puts us in deeper trouble. We now face a big week next week with a must win league match against Spondon and a very hard cup tie with Longfield". Jaime Lazcano's received a bid after one week on the market, a bid of £ 19 million. |
|
12/05/2025 |
After last week's derby win the team
returned home for a sterner challenge against A.F.C
Binfield. The team put in an excellent performance to record a 2-1 win that edges the team up a spot to tenth place. Lehtonen headed in magnificently on14 minutes and Zebeto's close range tap in on 33 minutes secured the win. AFC Binfield got a consolation goal in the 88th minute through Lars Stock. Manager Rich Grove was delighted afterwards. "That was a great win and if we can performance at that level every week we can hopefully move away from the relegation area completely". The manager called time on Jaime Lazcano's career at the club, electing to place him on the auction market. A fresh start for Jaime is probably needed as he found it hard to score at the club and chances to impress became rarer. |
|
05/05/2025 |
The local derby at fellow strugglers
Wascisco Red Sox was an enormous match for both sides.
Neither side could afford to lose, or indeed draw. The Wolverines thankfully found their scoring boots as they won 4-2 and moved out of the relegation places and up to 11th place. The goals were through two defenders, Duscher and Lorde, and two attackers, Rivellino and Zebeto. Manager Rich Grove was refusing to get carried away afterward. "All we did was beat a side certain to relegate who have an awful manager. Nothing to get excited about. We have to build on this and beat a far better team and manager next week when A.F.C Binfield visit". Rumours abound about potential departures at the club with more next expected next week. |
|
28/04/2025 |
The team continues to underperform, going
down to another defeat today 1-0. Visiting Colwyn Bay are another club in the relegation battle, making this defeat particularly troublesome. The team never looked good and the loss keeps the team in 14th place. Manager Rich Grove cast a dejected figure after the match. "Just so poor, nothing to say at this point. I have tried just about everything to get these players to respond, without success". Behind the scenes last week's youth find, Hector Scarone, signed a contract as it was revealed his potential is a 10. Rumours are that slow midfielder Morten Thorsby will be involved in the club's relegation battle with Wascisco Red Sox. |
|
21/04/2025 |
The team showed a battling performance as
they recorded a 2-2 draw at The Academy. Despite leading twice in the first half through goals from defenders Lorde and Spencer a draw was the result and saw the team drop into the bottom 3. Manager Rich Grove announced a change in club transfer policy afterwards. "This club has for far too long relied on speedy players, only for them to prove below par when it comes to performance". "We now will look to sign players who can play regardless of how much or little pace they have. The first signs of this are in today's signings, Thorsby and a youth foreign find". |
|
14/04/2025 |
Hosting Vanbrugh Royals is usually a
pleasant experience but with Charscot in a mess of late
the team recorded their fourth consecutive defeat without
scoring a goal in the league, losing 1-0. The loss puts Charscot into 12th place and likely a bottom 3 spot next week. Manager Rich Grove was fed up post match. "That was simply poor, just isn't good enough. Changes will happen but if we don't see an improvement soon I am not sure what else I can do". With his career in need of a boost after a couple of below par seasons Rafael Gordillo was transferred to Dep El Celtico this week. The star player has been a main goalscorer for the club but had found goals increasingly scarce in the past couple of years so a new challenge appealed to the player. In exchange the club welcome back former youth player Pedro Cea. Pedro has a way to go in his training and isn't expected to challenge for a first team spot for a couple of seasons but his return is still welcome. |
|
07/04/2025 |
A trip to an unbeaten Division 3 side in
the cup has enormous shock potential but Charscot managed
to avoid a shock result today at Abergarwed Athletic. Alberto Spencer settled any nerves with a tap in on 26 minutes and Brad Blackman's second half double delivered a 3-0 road win and progression to the second round. Manager Rich Grove was delighted afterwards. "We tried something a bit different today and it worked beautifully and will certainly be something we look to try in the coming weeks and hopefully put our poor league run to an end next week". |
|
31/03/2025 |
Charscot are in free-fall as the team lost
it's third consecutive match without scoring a goal. The derby match at Beeston had little in it as the visitors went close hitting the woodwork late on but the game was won in the first minute of the match. The team dropped to 11th place and look like having another relegation battle this season. Manager Rich Grove was depressed post-match. "That was not good enough, watching this team is painful at present. Not doing enough at the back and going forward we are dire. Embarrassing". |
|
24/03/2025 |
Longfield K.L.F arrived at The Blue Silver
Stadium in great form and showed that as they easily won
3-0. The Wolverines never got going and dropped back into the bottom half in ninth place after this loss. Manager Rich Grove had little to say afterwards. "That was poor for the whole 90 minutes. We need to vastly improve". To add to the team's misery the team lost 1-0 at Beeston to exit the Super Cup in the group stages when a win would have seen the team progress. |
|
17/03/2025 |
Charscot travelled to Rhyl FC hoping to go
five matches unbeaten but despite a solid performance the
team returned home victims of a 2-0 loss. After a bright first half the hosts scored two goals in the last half hour to secure the win and send Charscot down a position to 8th. Manager Rich Grove was disappointed afterwards. "Not what we had hoped for to be honest. We need to try and bounce back in what will be a very hard match at home to Longfield K.L.F next week." In the Super Cup the team stayed unbeaten as they drew 0-0 at Caglibari Calcio for a fourth draw in the first 5 matches. A win next week would probably see the team progress to the second round, any other result is likely to see the team exit. |
|
10/03/2025 |
Charscot faced a local derby against a
Ziaste Nequeno side who have made an excellent start on
their return to the top flight. The match was a cagey affair with little to separate the sides but The Wolverines came through courtesy of Alberto Spencer's close range tap in on 72 minutes. The win keeps Charscot 7th after 6 matches. Manager Rich Grove was relieved afterwards. "It is always hard playing a local derby so we are delighted to take the points and keep our recent run going. If we can keep this going for the next month or so we can hopefully turn this season into one where we never look again at the relegation places". In the Super Cup the team won 1-0 at Shaolin to go top of their group with two matches to go. Brad Blackwell's goal in a rare start for him was enough to see the team stay unbeaten and edge towards the second round. |
|
03/03/2025 |
Charscot made the trip to Shaolin hoping to
take the unbeaten run to 3 games after a poor opening
fortnight to the season. The match was decide by a Lorde header on 8 minutes in a match that The Wolverines dominated for long periods. The win moves Charscot up to 7th place at this early stage of the season. Manager Rich Grove was delighted post-match. "That was a great performance and a big win that keeps us going in the right direction. We have a very hard match against Ziaste next week and if we can win against them we will be looking at hopefully a top half season at least". In the Super Cup the team drew 0-0 with Beeston Athletic. This was the team's third draw and at the halfway stage the team is two points off of top spot in a group where draws have dominated. |
|
24/02/2025 |
Charscot welcomed Athletico Academy to The
Blue Silver Stadium looking to win to maintain a 100% home
record against AA from their five previous matches. The match was a fairly disappointing spectacle as the teams played out a dull goalless draw. The point saw Charscot go up one place to tenth. Manager Rich Grove was subdued afterwards. "That wasn't a great match but at least we kept a clean sheet, something that had become quite a problem but hopefully we have found answers to our defensive issues of recent seasons. We now need to get our scorers back to form as we have the players to score for us but they are lacking confidence this season". The team played out a 2-2 draw at home to Caglibari Calcio in the WPL Super Cup. |
|
17/02/2025 |
Charscot travelled to Bastion Road to face
Prestatyn Town looking for a repeat of last season's win
on week 3. It started badly as the team went one down inside 11 minutes. Thankfully the team bounced back quickly, forcing Redman to slice into his own net four minutes later. Te minutes later Zebeto scored a superb solo goal to put The Wolverines ahead and record a 2-1 away win to kickstart the season. The win only moved the team up one place to 11th. Manager Rich Grove was delighted afterwards. "We really needed that win. We now return home to face Athletico Academy, who we have beaten in all our previous home meetings and will be looking to maintain that run". In the WPL Super Cup the team drew 2-2 at home to Shaolin FC in their opening game of the competition. |
|
10/02/2025 |
The first home match of the season was a
disappointing one as once again St Joseph's BC came to The
Blue Silver Stadium and returned home with the 3 points. The only goal came just past the hour but The Wolverines did little to threaten and can have few complaints. The team dropped to 12th and is still to get a point this season. Manager Rich Grove was fed up afterwards. "It is just more of the same rubbish every season and at some point I will just walk away". |
|
03/02/2025 |
The new season started badly as once again
Charscot went to Spondon and lost. It started brightly with Rivellino scoring on 7 minutes from close range but by half time The Wolverines were 3-1 down. Rivellino hit a magnificent lob a minute into the second half but an equaliser could not be found as the team lost 3-2. With zero draws in the top flight the team are 9th but will need to get a result at home to St Joseph's BC next week. Manager Rich Grove was brief post-match. "Not a good performance, a couple of changes for next week will happen and hopefully we can use the home crowd to help get us a result". The cup draw was made and on week 10 Charscot will travel to Division 3 side Abergarwed Athletic. |
|
27/01/2025 |
A meaningless match for Charscot as they
hosted cup finalists (soon to be winners) Whitebrook
Rangers. With Rangers' focus on the Cup final the Wolverines secured a straightforward 2-0 win. Zebeto tapped in on 29 minutes before Rivellino's magnificent shot from 30 yards doubled the lead on 76 minutes. The win moved the team to a final position of 8th, quite a turnaround considering a month ago they looked certain to relegate. The season finises in some style with five consecutive clean sheets and four wins to finish the season. Manager Rich Grove was satisfied afterwards. "That was a superb end to the season and we need to find a way to start the season better and actually try to be title challengers, which as a club we should be but seem determined not to be". The final week of the season sees the end of season awards, in a season that was grim for long periods. No major team records were broken and the awards were fairly uninspiring with Zebeto taking Player of the Year for finishing top scorer whilst Didi took the Young Player of the Year award for a second successive season as the youth who has shown the greatest improvement, in a close run battle with keeper Ronnie Simpson. With the season proving to be such a let down no players were inducted into the club's Hall of Fame. |
|
20/01/2025 |
Last season Charscot saved themselves on
week 30 from relegation by going to title chasing A.F.C
Binfield and beating them and ending their title hopes. Today there was an overwhelming sense of deja vu as The Wolverines made the trip to Binfield and repeated history. Rivellino's header on 18 minutes was enough to win the match 1-0 and see Charscot stay up and A.F.C Binfield have to settle for second place. The win moved the team into 9th place on the back of 4 consecutive clean sheets and 5 consecutive away matches and leaves next week's match a complete irrelevance Manager Rich Grove was ecstatic afterwards. "That was a quite brilliant performance and we can have a week off to try a few things out before the new season quickly comes around". "I hope we can avoid this scenario happening again as this club and squad should be fighting at the other end of the table and we have to do better". Behind the scenes Mo Keyper proved his worth to the club with his recent performances, allowing Jozsef Hada to leave and join Dep El Celtico today. With youth keeper Ronnie Simpson promoted today he will get a run out next week before Mo takes back over for the new season. The manager is considering listing another player on the market next week, with a decision expected in the next 48 hours. |
|
13/01/2025 |
A double week of fixtures with a crucial
derby relegation battle and a cup semi-finals. As much as the manager wanted to give their all in the cup the decision to focus on the league was an easy one in the circumstances and that decision was to prove crucial to the week and potentially to the season as a whole, time will tell. In the league Charscot dominated Wascisco Red Sox for the entirety of the match and won courtesy of a superb 35 yarder from the captain Imre Schlosser after 25 minutes. The win moves the team up to 11th, 3 points clear of Wascisco in 14th with two matches remaining. In the cup the team battled against Whitebrook Rangers and we were the better team without getting the crucial breakthrough It went to the lottery of penalties and despite the entire defence scoring from the spot for The Wolverines the team lost 5-4 on penalties. Manager Rich Grove was happy afterwards. "Obviously we would have loved to have won both matches but it was most important that we won in the league with two hard matches still to play so I can't complain this week". Behind the scenes it was confirmed youth keeper Ronnie Simpson will be promoted for next week as all the loanees have returned to the club now. Mo Keyper's recent performances have saved his career at Charscot and he will stay as first choice with Jozsef Hada making the move to Dep El Celtico next week. |

06/01/2025 |
A crucial trip to Colwyn Bay as The
Wolverines looked for a win that would see them leapfrog
above the hosts. The match turned into a very one-sided contest as Charscot dominated throughout and won 2-0 courtesy of first half goals from Imre Schlosser with a fine lob and Zebeto scoring a superb swerving free kick. The win moves the team up to 13th place with an enormous week ahead as the team face the side directly above them in the league, Wascisco Red Sox, and a cup semi-final against Whitebrook Rangers. Manager Rich Grove was delighted afterwards. "That was an excellent performance and another couple of performances at that standard should see us safe. Anything less though and we are in deep trouble with no room for errors at this late stage in the season". |
